20th March 2005 Windsurfing: Porthcawl - Newton Wind Direction: SE Wind Stength: 4-5 Surf / Sea State: Choppy Air Temperature: ~14C Sea Temperature: fairly cool Weather: misty/sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Wow - can't get better than this for March. Sunny, windy & warm! SE winds never bring in any real waves at Newton, but there were plenty of ramps & small, wind-blown swells for jumps/rides. Pretty gusty though - overpowered one min, then almost dropping in the next. Great day for 1st sail in 6 weeks. |
